The Leadership Dorchester Class of 2025 is proud to announce our community impact project: a revitalization of the outdoor spaces at Beyond BASIC!

This year’s cohort will work alongside the Beyond BASIC team to create a safe, inclusive, and enriching outdoor learning environment that will serve local community members and families for years to come.

The vision for the new space includes:

• A multi-use shade pavilion for social and sensory engagement
• An accessible entrance, parking lot, and upgraded walkways
• A living vertical garden wall with herbs and edible plants for hands-on learning
• Recreational spaces with accessible sports equipment for all abilities
