Project Idea

Do you have a project that the Leadership Dorchester Class of 2025 can turn into a reality? We are passionate to work on a community project in Dorchester County that will benefit our community for years to come.

Leadership Dorchester Class of 2025 is currently accepting project idea requests. We are hoping these requests will give us a better understanding of community needs and wants that we can work on. If you have a project idea in Dorchester County, please fill out the following Project Idea Request Form. All project idea requests will be received by end of day on March 19, 2025.

We may have you come in and share your idea in further detail with the class for consideration. During the first week of May, our class will review all submissions and narrow the list down to three project idea requests. At that time, we may reach out to the top three and schedule a day/time to come in to the Chamber, schedule a virtual call (Zoom), or email a few questions to allow you to share your idea in further detail and for us to ask any questions that we may have.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Please understand that we anticipate a high volume of project idea requests and we can only select one project. Also, if you are one of our finalist, the next step will be for you to come to the Greater Summerville / Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce office on April 1st at 9am to present your idea and answer questions to/for the Leadership Dorchester class.

We will let you know the status of your project request the week of March 24, 2025.
